Petition to stop the encroachment of business zoning into residential areas.

Everyone in Mt Washington has seen the lovely stone house off Hwy 44, by the Woodlake Neighborhood pond. This house was flipped and transformed into an immaculate residential home. 

But every year like clockwork, the Limited Liability Partnership that purchased the land is attempting to encroach further into Mt Washington’s residential areas by trying to rezone from R-1 to B-2. The current owners knowingly and willingly purchased the property under its current zoning designation, as residential property.   

This haphazard rezone will even further disorganize the flow and function of the city as a whole. The best and most well run Cities have zoning requirements throughout their cities that bring synergy and organization. It’s obvious the direction of commercial/business growth is building up and down the Bardstown road section of Mt Washington. Residential areas along 44 need to stay residential, as to keep this city growing in the great direction it has!

Help stop the business encroachment and maintain current zoning designations along 44!
