Hello everyone, I'm an international student in the UK and I come from China. I really appreciate the laws on animals in European countries. However, China is a lively country but doesn't have any domestic animal protection laws, dogs are eaten in several cities. Fortunately, there are many group funding organisations trying to tackle this problem. However this isnt sufficient enough. In my opinion, firstly, dogs are human's friends and family, they shouldn't be eaten! Secondly, dog meat without Quarantine is a huge concern to food safety and it is illegal. Many dogs that are eaten also have owners. Thirdly, black chain restaurants kill dogs in street which causes physical and mental discomfort to citizens especially children, and has a bad affect on the reputation of the city, children's physical and mental health. If it is too far to push China to establish animal protection laws, please sign this petition, do your best to help these poor dogs. Even the smallest amount of power can make a difference!
