In a recent update to the popular MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, the ability to queue as a group for Battlegrounds, a PVP gamemode, was removed in favor of solo queue only. This move has disappointed some PVPers who enjoy groupplay with friends, while others celebrate the more even playing field forced by solo play. We propose a separate queue system that matches all groups (pairs, trios, and quads) against each other. This would not affect solo queuers, except for perhaps slightly lengthening queue times. However, solo players would also be able to fill slots in groups of trio queues, possibly shortening the queue.

The Battlegrounds gamemode is a much more fast-paced and team-oriented mode than Cyrodiil and would benefit greatly from the change proposed.
