Imagine if someone you love was neglected and mistreated. Wouldn't you want the perpetrator to be punished fairly? Wouldn't you want justice? 

All over the world animals are subject to abuse in many different ways for no reason other than the offender's own amusement. To make it worse the maximum sentence for these crimes is only 51 weeks in prison and a fine of £20,000. We believe that this is far too low and not a big enough deterrent. If you care about animals, if you have a pet, then please do the right thing and sign this petition.
