Everyday on YouTube people are posting videos that depict animal abuse, harm and endangerment. You can report these videos and users but only as abusive and harmful behavior, not as animal abuse. There is a separate topic for child abuse and with the large number of animal abuse videos there should be a separate category. This makes it easier to report and make people more likely to report. 

Many young people watch YouTube videos and animal abuse videos featuring baby monkeys, octopuses, or fake rescues of kittens and puppies and the abuse is protected as being cute, funny and harmless. With an animal abuse category for reporting it would help normalize the idea that animal abuse should be reported and it's not okay, cute or funny. The end result is many animals are being abused and killed on YouTube for profit and fan pleasure and that's really not okay. 

That is why we need an animal abuse and endangerment category for reporting videos, channels and users. This would make the reporting process alot easier, make people more willing to report and would show YouTube doesn't tolerate animal abuse on it's site. It would also prevent animal abuse instead of promoting it.
