Over the years many creators on YouTube have experienced the following problems:

-Lack of Policy Enforcement in Regards to Egregious Behavior That Has a Large Negative Impact on the Black Community

-Lack of Internal Promotion & Inclusion for Black Creators 

-Lack of Hate Speech Policy Enforcement & Prohibiting Videos Alleging That a Group is Superior in Order to Justify Discrimination, Segregation or Exclusion Based on Qualities like Age, Gender, Race, Caste, Religion, Sexual Orientation or Veteran Status.

-Lack Of Tools & Resources for Black Creators

-Lack of Black Creator Community Support 

-Unequal Pay from Sponsors to Black Creators 

-Willingness of Advertisers & Marketers to Associate Their Company Brands with YouTube Content Published by Creators Who Are Not Respectful to Their Viewers, and or Fellow Creators -- both On and Off YouTube.

This petition is a call to action for YouTube, Advertisers, Marketers, MCNs, Journalists, Viewers, and Creators to utilize their influence and direct control, to create lasting change within the creator community. A highly recommended solution to these problems is for YouTube to establish an internal diversity council (of black creators and black employees) targeting ramifications to every problem listed above. #CreatorEquality

Below are additional direct solutions which will dismantle the creator community, and spark change for a positive outcome:

-Demonetizing Problematic Influencers/Creators (This will Dismantle Currently Promoted Systematic Supremacist Views While Also Promoting YouTube Enforcements) 

-A No Tolerance Policy: After two violations of the Youtube Partner Program violator's accounts should be terminated with proper options to appeal.

-Reevaluation of viewership. (Many creators have marketed and capitalized on the misfortune and suffering of others to increase engagement. YouTube could reevaluate harmful creators who have gained audiences from trauma, hate-speech, microaggressive behaviors, racist behaviors, and or blackmailing).

-Promoting the #CreatorEquality Initiative to aid direct support for black creators (i.e: Publicists, managers, content strategist, attorneys, and editors)

-Hiring more black executives to provide perspective and insight on company policies and inclusion goals. (Approving budgets, hiring diverse staff in all departments, and initiating support will create internal & external change). 

-Highly recommend top viewed black creators to advertisers and marketers. 

-Open application for the $100,000,000.00 funds raised for black creators that has yet to be released.

-Incorporate Black-Owned YouTube Affiliates, black owned MCNs, and black owned third-party service providers that offer services that may include audience development, content programming, creator collaborations, digital rights management, monetization, and/or sales.

-Love, Authenticity, and Consistency.
