SSSniperWolf has been demonetized! But...

Today at 11:38 AM EST, @TeamYouTube posted on X:

"Update: SSSniperWolf has received a temporary monetization suspension per Creator Responsibility policies. Off platform actions that put others’ personal safety at risk harm our community & the behavior from both creators isn’t what we want on YT. Hoping everyone helps move this convo to a better place."

This means that the petition's goal has been fulfilled. But not for long. Note how the post says "temporary monetization suspension". This may mean that she'll be monetized again soon. The wording also makes it look like YouTube won't take any more action, despite many people also urging YouTube to deplatform Alia.

It also seems like TeamYouTube blames both Alia and John (creator of the JJJacksfilms channel) for the drama caused, suggesting so in the sentence "the behavior from both creators isn't what we want on YT".

It doesn't take a genius to figure out John is in no way in the wrong here, yet YouTube is claiming so.

This looks like a win at first, but YouTube might have just made it even worse. I'll keep you posted if anything changes.
