TLDR; Popular YouTuber abuses power to shut down criticism against him at the expense of smaller creators.

Gregory Avaroe, often known as Onision has been a prominent YouTuber for years. He has recently became an easy target for controversy among the YouTube community for his past and current behavior; this resulting in MANY videos made with the intention of him being "called out."

In response to this, Gregory has used his power as a well-known YouTuber to copyright claim (profit off of videos made about him) or block (remove the video from YouTube) these videos. While it is true that Gregory's content is often used in able to criticize him, what he fails to recognize (or rather chooses to ignore) is that these videos are protected under Copyright and Fair Use laws.

This blatant abuse of power has been ignored by YouTube and is a slap in the face to content creators.

Side note: While I do have my opinions on Onision, this petition was not made out of spite for him, but rather out of support for smaller creators who are taken advantage of by YouTubes biased and broken Copyright system.
