The FTC is making YouTube change its system. This includes striking videos that are “for kids”, by doing this the videos will not be given a notification when released, will not show up in the recommended section of YouTube, will not be searchable on YouTube, and the content creators will make 90% less revenue off of their video. Some things targeted as “for kids” are as follows, vibrant and colorful things, words like cool, games, duh, and free stuff, gaming content, and many other things. By signing this petition we can all bring this to a stop and save YouTube! The fact that the FTC is making YouTube do this is unnecessary when there is YouTube kids.
