Recently, YouTube is using AI in YouTube shorts to "improve clarity" in uploaded content without consent. This update/experiment is secretly being rolled out by YouTube, and this will be a problem.

The problem is when enhancing videos with AI, it makes the video worse. Picture a low quality video of a cat playing piano. When the AI enhances it, it makes the video look worse. The video looks brighter and the piano looks a little bit robotic and cartoonish now when the AI enhances it. 

If YouTube is enhancing our videos with AI, we just don't know what videos are real and what's not. And if people a video that was enhanced by YouTube with AI they're not going to think that YouTube did it. They think the video creator used AI to make the video.

The types of things should be an option to the creator instead of just being mandatory.
