The Guardian published a story by Josh Butler this morning, ‘Senator compares Labor’s social media bill to ‘banning children from libraries’ amid calls for more scrutiny’ citing MPs from the Nationals and the Greens urging the government not to include YouTube in the social media ban legislation.

“Banning YouTube would be the modern equivalent of banning children from libraries because there’s a few books not suitable for children,” said Nationals senator Matt Canavan.
