YouTube Don't Use AI to Take Away Our Privacy
The Issue
Their are some users who are 18 and up who like watching kid shows or don't have time for YouTube. It also affects people's privacy and also their are some mature underage kids. Majority of the content is kid made on their or at least family-friendly and if it isn't then it is marked as an adult video. Their are actually some kids who have so many viewers that they make money off of it for their family to use. And if parents want to see what their kids are doing either use YouTube Kids or look at their YouTube account.
Most of YouTube viewers or even channels will be gone since VERY few just forget to put the kid logos on or just don't feel the need to show it to just kids. Also YouTube will be taking people's privacy aka big brother is watching. Also the AI is more likely to mess up with what you are watching because not everyone 18 and up likes mature shows etc. and AI just messes up in general usually unless you pay for it. Parents might lose money from their kids entertainment. Also some adults like YA novels which are usually for kids and sometimes even Middle-Grade or younger. Also teachers use YouTube for school and most high schoolers and middle schoolers based YouTube videos aren't on YouTube Kids.
Your privacy will be taken away from you. Some people's jobs will be taken away from them. Not everyone has the same taste or mindset as someone else their age. You are never to young or too old to like a cartoon or kid show because guess what? Not everyone has the same mindset. Somepeople use YouTube for educational videos like Science in school. Can you see that in YouTube Kids? I don't think so.
I have a YouTube account that isn't 18 and up but I know people who like younger things and who wonder why it matters if you are under 18 especially since teens usually don't make drama. Usually it is just the little kids who would be on YouTube Kids who make drama. Also isn't this kind've a form of discrimination against younger users? And what made the AI decide that you need to be 18 and up of all ages?
Also how about the kids who don't have TV but have enough money for a device and are mature enough to watch like R-rated shows or MA-rated shows with their family or their family allows them to or even better yet just PG-13?
