This petition is to save Indie Folk Central! 

By signing this petition you´re asking YouTube to reinstate Indie Folk Central in their Partner Program and to remonetize all the videos published on Indie Folk Central's channel. The future of Indie Folk Central depends on YouTube's decision!

The situation:
In January, an automatic system within YouTube decided that we’re no longer able to make revenue with the videos we publish. They demonetized our channel without giving a detailed reason why they did this. Therefore you won’t see any advertisements at the start of our videos and we're not getting any revenue out of all the work we're putting into our channel. That makes it very difficult for us to continue!

Why this petition?
We believe that the quality of our channel is good, unique and original enough and that YouTube made a mistake with their decision. We have an important role in making indie folk artists known and thousands of fans enjoy our compilations and playlists on a daily basis. We're putting in so many hours of hard work every week, just to make sure that new & unknown indie folk tracks find their way to the bigger audience. We’re NOT in it for the money, this channel is our passion, but we can’t continue if it means that we're no longer able to pay our bills. We can only continue if YouTube enables monetization again.

We have signed copyright approvals from all the artists, managements and/or labels for every song that we have ever featured on Indie Folk Central. The same applies to all the other content that is displayed on our channel and in our videos.
