The tiny Fairy Possum is small enough to snuggle in the palm of your hand and weighs less than a block of chocolate but it is on the brink of extinction because Australian Paper, a foreign-owned company, is logging their home to make cheap office paper.

Logging in Australia’s precious native forests is driving the Fairy Possum and many other animals to the point of no return. Unfortunately there are now only 1,500 Fairy Possum’s left. Currently the only home it knows, the Mountain Ash forests north of Melbourne, is being systematically destroyed to create pulp for Reflex White office paper, even though viable alternatives exist, such as tree farms and recycled fibre.
