Capital funding for the Norwood Library is now included in Council's Long-Term Financial Plan, thanks to a unanimous vote by councillors to have it reinstated. The gallery was full of supporters of the Library, and two deputations were made by prominent members of our community, Mr Jim Dunk and Ms Carole Whitelock. There were also two petitions presented to Council with over 1000 signatures in support of the capital funding being reinstated. Thanks to all who signed the petition.
