This park has been a free and green space entertaining generations of familys. There are not enough free activities in inner city Newcastle, to sell to a private profit orientated company would alienate too many people from the elderly to young children. In these times people of Newcastle need this free space to enjoy nature, exercise, socialising and family time. Many people I know have been brought up on days at Heaton Park and now do the same with their children and grandchildren. WE CAN NOT LOSE HEATON PARK!
