Hi everyone, You might remember a few months back you signed my petition supporting Affordable Housing for the VoteHome campaign. This Wednesday 9 November I have been asked to head to Canberra to help save programs that are at risk of being shut down. I will be going to speak with the Parliamentary Friends of Homelessness and Affordable Housing and present my petition in support of funding for the National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness (NPAH). At the moment, there is a National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness (the ‘NPAH’), which accounts for one-third of all homelessness funding in Australia. The current NPAH agreement will expire on 30 June 2017. The Victorian Government wants to renew the agreement but the Federal Government still won't commit to further funding for this crucial issue. This issue is something really close to my heart. I will be speaking about my story in support of this campaign and on behalf of those who don't have a voice who are in serious need of housing.
