From 1979 to today, the Gundam franchise has inspired the hearts and minds of science fiction, character building action, and Japanese animation enthusiasts the world over, including myself. However, I believe that people who live outside of Japan have only been giving a half of the picture that Yoshiyuki Tomino and his colleagues have shown through the Gundam series. At least nine TV shows of that popular anime remain subbed while many others have come to the United States of America in English. But I want to change that. With this petition, I hope that we will be able to convince the creators of Gundam of the entertaining and financial benefits of dubbing shows such as Mobile Suit Gundam AGE for American viewers. I'm confident they have gained enough many to hire English voice actors for those shows. If we succeed, interest in Gundam will be renewed and people will notice the lessons learned from it's incarnations, but if not, we might never have another opportunity again.
