To eliminate as far as possible the unpleasant odours that arise from the sewage treatment works and, therefore improve the air quality for all residents and visitors to the area, which will in turn support our health and wellbeing at all times of the year.

Ensuring that the necessary work commences as soon as possible with the fund of £15 m that is available to YWA, will also increase the marketability of all of the homes, old and new, that surround the Beck area.

I believe that direct pressure from all of those who are affected by the odours from the site is essential to ensure that a full renovation strategy is put into place as soon as possible, without any further delays.

 This petition has been created as I have been a resident of Bielby Drive, adjacent to the Beverley Beck, for five years and would now like to see the problem fully resolved, as I'm sure many of my neighbours would too.
