'No' to logging trucks along Ancient Public Bridleway and through Austwick Village.

The Issue

This ancient lane is nestled between the famous 3 peaks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  A logging company wish to 'develop' the much used and loved Public Bridleway (Thwaite Lane) for large logging vehicles, making it hazardous to walkers, cyclists, school parties, dog walkers and horse riders and of course farmers, flocks of sheep etcI

It is also proposed the logging vehicles will drive through the Austwick Village, passing a Primary School, village shop, Post Office, BnBs, the Village Hall, a pub and a church. Many areas have no pavement and parked cars from locals and tourists line the narrow lanes. Please help & say NO to the proposals.
