Move Classes Online at York University due to COVID-19 PANDEMIC!
The Issue
The novel COVID-19 virus has now been classified by the WHO as a PANDEMIC! We York University students believe it is time that the school understands the severity and risk this poses to all students AND the family of students. They are not doing ANYTHING about this recent update and it’s frustrating!
Therefore, we demand that York University:
-provides students with the opportunity for lectures, midterms, tutorials and assignments to be completed from the safety of their own home.
It should be noted that we don’t want the school to close, instead we want alternatives for the time being for writing midterms, assignments and such.
We all believe that this is a very serious matter, and that it should not be ignored!
