Lo hicieron de nuevo.
Los episodios de la semana pasada (04/08/22 - 05/08/22) de "El secuestro de Mateo", originalmente "Demente", mostraron a la audiencia un flashback de la misma escena que Canal 4 censuró el 26 de julio, y adivinen qué ? Lo volvieron a censurar.
La escena mostraba a Flavia y Javiera haciendo el amor por primera vez, practicando sexo, si lo prefieres, si te suena más aterrador, ofensivo u obsceno. Porque aparentemente dos mujeres adultas teniendo una vida sexual es todo eso en Uruguay.
La escena de la que hablamos es sutil, lo más alejado de la pornografía que puedas imaginar. Muestra a Flavia finalmente abriéndose a esta nueva experiencia, disfrutando de ser tocada por primera vez en muchos años. Muestra a Javiera guiándola sin forzar, marcando el camino.
Muestra a una mujer de más de cincuenta años sintiendo placer, placer sexual y en nuestra sociedad esto es probablemente demasiado para aceptar.
Para Canal 4 Flavia puede recordar sobre besar a Javiera pero no se puede aceptar que recuerde un acto sexual.
La última vez que los medios chilenos hablaron de todo esto, ¿deberíamos hacer que lo vuelvan a hacer?

They did it again.
Last week's episodes (08/04/22 - 08/05/22) of "El secuestro de Mateo", originally "Demente" showed the audience a flashback of the same scene that Canal 4 censored on the 26th of July, and guess what? They censored it again.
The scene showed Flavia and Javiera making love for the first time, having sex, if you prefer, if it sounds more scary or offensive, or obscene. Because apparently two adult women having a sexual life is all of that.
The scene we're talking about is subtle, the furthest from pornography you can imagine. It shows Flavia finally opening up to this new experience, enjoying being touched for the first time in too many years. It shows Javiera guiding her without forcing, leading the way.
It shows a more than fifty years old woman feeling pleasure, sexual pleasure and in our society this is probably too much to take.
For Canal 4 Flavia can remember about kissing Javiera but the fact that she remembers about a sexual act cannot be accepted.
Last time Chilean media talked about it, should we make them do it again?
