Every KPOP fan/iKONIC knows what has happened- an unfortunate controversy has fallen upon the KPOP group iKON's leader, Kim Han Bin, better known by his stage name B.I. B.I's contract with YG Entertainment has been terminated and he has posted a statement on Instagram that he is officially withdrawing from the group. And that's bad, because he was the backbone of the group, the very element and center of iKON who has produced 80% of iKON's work up till now. No one can deny he was the main man pulling the strings behind the group's musical success.

However, sadly it is now certain that B.I has officially quit iKON and it would just be wishful thinking trying to have him reinstalled into the group. I feel that iKONICS must now focus on iKON's future, so that they will continue to remain successful as remaining members. However, for that to happen, I feel that some changes must be made within the team.

My petition, thus, is to train one of the members, Jung Chanwoo, known better by his stage name Chan, into becoming a rapper. With B.I gone there are only left five vocalists and one rapper, Bobby, which is, needless to say, an extremely unequal distribution of positions within the group. One of the remaining members, I feel, should become a rapper in place of B.I (yes, I know B.I is irreplaceable, but this is only out of concern for line distribution and overall musicality). I first saw potential in him when he (with the help of his group member Bobby) wrote a diss rap for his members, which I found to be of quite quality content. Performance-wise he also seemed to have quite a good flow. Of course he needs more training and practice in order to become an official rapper, but this is why I am creating this petition, to make iKONICS see that this idea would be of great benefit for the group in their future activities. Please consider if this is a good idea, and if you think it is then please sign it. I really hope that iKON sees this and Bobby can start training Chan.
