Yes! Access. Because we all need Access!

The Issue

Why This Matters

Right now, disabled Americans are facing one of the most serious threats to our rights in decades.

One in four Americans has a disability. That’s over 70 million of us. These attacks don’t just hurt individuals—they threaten entire families, schools, workplaces, and communities.

This isn’t about politics. This is about survival.

  • Section 504 is what makes sure disabled students can learn in classrooms, disabled workers can access jobs, and no one is left behind in federally funded programs.
  • Medicaid is the backbone of healthcare and independence for over 60 million people. It funds everything from home-based care to life-saving treatments.
  • IDEA ensures that 7.5 million students with disabilities have the right to a free, appropriate education.
Recent government actions—including attempts to dismantle the
  • Department of Education and slash emergency funding—put all of this at risk.
  • Etc. etc. etc.  The list is too long and grows almost daily.

These protections are not optional. They are essential.

We’re not asking for charity. We are demanding equality. And we won’t be silent.
