Union Street Guest House has a horrid business practice regarding netagive reviews being left on site such as Yelp. Apparently if a guest of a wedding reception leaves a negative review, the Bride & Groom are docked $500 per bad review from their deposit. The money is not refunded unless the bad reviews are pulled down. Fining people because their guests exercise their first ammendment rights is outrageious. Threatening to keep the money unless the review is pulled is nothing short of extortion of a young couple trying to start a new life together. This is not acceptable and Yelp should remove them from their site until this policy is changed and this terrible practice stops.
