If you haven't seen it yet, a recent poll by Chehalem Parks and Rec. showed that 70% of people in Yamhill County support completion of the Yamhelas-Westsider trail.
Yet despite this overwhelming support, and despite the fact that not moving forward with the trail cost taxpayers $1.1 million dollars, Yamhill County Commissioner Lindsay Berschauer opted to listen to the small number of trail opponents who donated to her campaign and end development of the Yamhelas-Westsider trail.
For this reason, and others a group of Yamhill Citizens have launched a recall campaign against Commissioner Berschauer.
I urge you to do the following to support them:
Sign the petition to recall Commissioner Lindsay Berschauer. Links to an easy mail in form can be found at www.saveyamhillcounty.com. (Must be a Yamhill County Citizen)
Donate to the recall campaign. Trail opponents have given a lot of money to Commissioner Berschauer, and they've opened up their pocket books again to keep their puppet in office. Donations of all sizes can be made at: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/saveyamhillcounty
Volunteer for their campaign: Volunteering is an easy concrete way to help bring faithful representation back to Yamhill County. Sign up at:
Commissioners have been ignoring our voices and it's costing Yamhill County millions. Lets make our voices heard!
Happy Trails!
