Hey guys, thancc for sharing this petition to everyone MIDI enthusiasts.

Just a small reminder. If you and/or your family, friends, teachers, whoever you acquainted with, have relationship with any musical departments (in particular to MIDI file) of Yamaha Corporation, pls PLS Please, Pretty Please, share this petition to them! We MIDI Enthusiast want to create the highest quality MIDI with many more options than any standard we have could never be.

Now, if they asked further detail, I've got some:

• Soundfont (sf2) format is ultra-crippled format. They do not support extra banks of LSB. All you can do to bank is through MSB, and that's it. Therefore numbers of voices you can do with SF2 is extremely limited and constricting. And hence afterall impossible to replicate even Roland's first and today's modern synth racks voice numbers. Did you know, LSB allows you to create even more variants? wait, where's the information about LSB?
• It's boring to enjoy MP3! Time to bring MIDI, and you'll have more! Saving Audio file saves how the wave forms, and that's Huuuuuge! But MIDI file is just a sheet music. An instruction, how the song should be played. It's just a small lines hex code, but if interpreted right, you have Aurora Borealis straight from your home! Even better, if the instrument supports it, the sheet music can contain extra datas like letter, chords, even bits of soundwave, to make music as good as FLAC, but extremely tinier size! Remember, MIDI is just Instruction, and RMI extension adds a bit of extra data to it. Speaking of, there's one community that got it even tho it's not Yamaha, tho of course, still not the fullest potential, thanks to said SF2 limitation atm. Or perhaps you should try hearing some pre-recorded demos here. There's another community that attempted to do some few MIDI visualizations, and the backend of it, PUNCHES hard 👍! They're serious about every MIDI standard ever conceived and they strive to learn how does it work, everything!
• Even tho MIDI enthusiasts seems fewer than most rabbit holes I've been experiencing here in my life now, don't underestimate it! Always start to cater anyway, coz you'll invite more cool and kudos to it! Virality is how you win a business! Need example? FPV Drone RC Aeromodeling communities, they tinker things that flies, or its land and water neighbours, they tinker something remote controlled! EdgeTX the OS on these remote is Open Source, you can customize it, that's why there's lots of enthusiasts there. Oh, maybe you should look at YouTube and search "MIDI file free download". Those files... mm yeah, but, for those who had actual Download link, they are awaiting to be improved! You can't do this with FLAC nor MP3 nor WAV! with MIDI, you can change each channel program, LSB, MSB numbers, and sprinkle 'em with more SysEx stuffs so to make it Aurora Borealis! okay okay, I know, I know. But c'mon, you got the idea! Without Genos available to hands alot, how do we supposed to know to target there? We can't just make music blindly (sorry, deafly) and expect it's compliant like Yamaha Musicsoft, right? WE NEED THE GENOS! And certainly, no too expensive to buy. And to make it reachable the most, is to make it software like Roland did back then. & you too! You did that too, but you stopped updating! C'mon! Wake up! It's time to let the creatives build with better! Don't let them stuck in a DAW that has no longer to do with MIDI standard (particularly MIDI file) at all and call it a day under FLAC, yuck!!!
