It is with great disappointment that someone who's into LLM-AI, particularly notorious for doing Unauthorized Sampling listed the data on a must-have at their source list. Not only them and us affected, but everyone else too as well, which is extremely unthrilling to hear. We do not condone the use of such action to achieve works which is very uncreative. Please do not use anyone's archive to train LLM / AI, even tho many allows free (both as in freedom and beer) usage. Disgusting! Take the pencil! or should I say: Take the mouse and keyboard! or uh, Take the keyboard (piano)!
The Sauce URLs have been changed:
- https://gitlab.com/perkedel/Personal_MIDI-Collection . Our MIDI Archive directory (incomplete, we still have gigabytes to commit & push). Former GitHub mirror has now been privated
- https://github.com/ltgcgo/midi-data . Hard link change. pls update your remote `origin` config to this one. The former link is no longer available. idk how did they do that, I'd wanted to do that as well to also suffer the stealers.
We also advise everyone who make, build, and archive stuffs to implement ala swiper no swiping tags such as NoAI, No-AI, etc. to tell the robots to hopefully ignore the sites to be not sampled. Obviously we understand this tag won't be obeyed by manuals, such as human samplers, but the message should suffice and makes it scrutinizable by law.
May we be free from such robbery.

How about the Genos development?
We must also apologize for not making recent update about Yamaha Genos VSTi, as we lacked news related about it lately. We extremely afraid that this petition will be dormant for the next few years, until Yamaha spoke us something. We hope you keep sharing and signing anyways, in a hope that Yamaha eventually hears this.
S. Christian Collins!
We have discovered a new general SF2 you can use as a default soundfont for your instruments. Here. or here. It's very lightweight, and covers most of the common Roland's voices. Mind you, Soundfont (the protocol itself) today is flawed (does not support LSB, hence lesser sub-niche voices supports), but many GS reset MIDI files should work with this (i.e. rarely uses LSB numbers), if you don't have SoundCanvas compatible instrument, considering the official Roland SoundCanvasVA VSTi has been discontinued just a couple years ago. The EFX of it now should be the responsibility of your Soundfonter Instrument to support so.
Falcosoft!
Also, Falcosoft's edit of VSTi MIDI Device (Source code fork-edit here, original by Kode54, Hermann Seib) supports tandem A-B instrument, so you can connect your MIDI Player to this device, to support up to 32 Channels MIDI songs with above demos. Just play one of the file with more than 16 channels while you set the mode to MIDI OUT to this device, and a new B device will automatically pops up. If you still have Roland SoundCanvas VA VSTi, you can bind it to VSTI MIDI Device now, to experience about authentic Roland GS Demo collected above.
