The current pandemic is completely out of everyone's control, including Yale's. However, with students asked to evacuate campus Yale costs should be significantly decreased and this should reflect in our tuition, room and board costs. Sign this petition to encourage Yale to consider refunding a portion of tuiton, room and board that is consistent with the time we will be forced to be away from campus. Because we are not allowed to be on campus, many students are facing financial hardship especially those who took out loans to pay for Yale and do not have the funds allocated to support themselves in off-campus locations. Issuing refunds will help ease the financial stress and burden many undergrads now face.

What we request:

1. That Yale issue partial refunds for all evicted students in order to help them fund housing, storage and travel home.
2. That Yale actively work to compensate student workers and general campus employees for wages they would have earned had the campus not been shut down.
