Garstang swimming pool is under threat.  It has not reopened since lockdown, and there doesn’t appear to be any plans to do so.  It is a vital local facility, which is well used and well loved.

We need to show Wyre Borough Council, and the YMCA, who lease the pool, the strength of feeling in the local community.

Swimming is an essential life skill, and also part of the national curriculum.  We can’t let this wonderful facility not be reopened and enjoyed by us and future generations.
