People are pushing to stop grizzly bears from being hunted with zero weight given to local biologists who are actually recommending that a certain amount of bears be killed to make room for the new bears to have the space to grow. Grizzly bears aren’t dying out but are growing rapidly. A certain number need to be killed for the species and ecosystem to remain healthy. Either Wyoming will pay people to go out and poison these older bears, or hunters will pay Wyoming for the chance to ethically hunt the same bears where the meat and fur will be used and not left in the woods to rot. Of these two options, obviously it is wiser to allow hunters to hunt and help fund such a beautiful state’s wildlife. Please sign this and push back against wildlife advocates who don’t understand wildlife conservation but use fear tactics to paint hunters as evil.
