We have a neighborhood park in which our community and residents would like to use.

We have as a whole been unable to use our restrooms for over 5 years and now they are locked with gates welded shut and full of urine and fecal matter and waste from people going to the bathroom right through the gates.

Our park is a 35 acre beautiful green belt that borders along the airport and golf course and an elementary school and this could be a great place for a dog park and jogging path even a nice nature walk.

Our politicians and our parks department have let us down and it’s unacceptable for the residents to feel afraid to use the park due to the non patrolling of rangers and police department not to mention the unsafe and unsanitary conditions for our children and grandchildren.

What we are trying to accomplish is a total park refresh and update of our bathrooms and gathering areas,and playground .

We are also asking that the park be patrolled frequently and kept free of riff raff that makes us feel unsafe to even use our own neighborhood park.

We as neighbors are tired of cleaning up the mess and doing the city’s job and we definitely cannot do the police departments job!
