After dissolving in 2003 it's time to bring back the best conference in southern Illinois... the North Egypt Conference.

With declining population/enrollment and lopsided scores in other leagues it's time to bring back the NEC!

Bringing back as many old NEC teams as possible (Carmi, Fairfield, Flora, Lawrenceville, Mt. Carmel, Olney, Red Hill. Salem) while potentially adding others ( Newton,  Robinson, Harrisburg,  etc.) can ensure less travel,  more rivalries,  and better competition.  Let our school officials know it's time for the NEC to return!
