In light of the recent tragedies at University of Idaho, we are petitioning for the option of online classes for the rest of the semester. I have talked to many other students that say that they feel unsafe on campus and in Pullman. Washington State University is less then 10 minutes away from University of Idaho. There has been no information shared that guarantees our security as students. I would personally feel more comfortable if I was in a area where I knew I was safe while completing classes. This is not an event to sweep under the rug, or say that there is no threat to the student body, since we do not know the motivations or even who this person is. If you are a concerned citizen, mother, father, parent, sibling, child, or student, please sign this petition to motivate WSU to offer the option online classes for the rest of the semester.
