Starburst lollies and lollipops were an unbeatable choice years ago. 

The lollipops were iconic in their flavouring and shape. The two-tone rattlesnakes, with a different coloured tip to the rest of the snake, were delicious and would always be the first to be eaten at parties. The only jelly babies worth having a whole bag of are the Starburst variety. 

But, sadly, these are no longer around to grace us with their deliciousness. Upwards of three years ago, they were removed from shelves at your local Coles and Woolworths and now cease to be made and, for a reason unbeknownst to man, the worst of the Starburst series, the chews, were allowed to remain.

These chews are not awful, but they are not the magic that was the lollies and lollipops. The eat-an-entire-bag-in-one-sitting addictiveness of the old beauties. 

I mean no disrespect to Allens, and Allens does have its place - but it will never be Starburst. 

Please ensure the safe return of Starburst lollies, including at the very least, Starburst Snakes, Starburst Babies and Starburst Sucks. Our world has not been the same without them, and today's children deserve to grow up with the wonders of having a choice in lolly bags, they deserve to grow up with Starburst.
