To demolish the Golden Grove is wrong on so many levels. This building dates back to 13th Century, the likes of Oliver Cromwell stopped at this very Inn for refreshments. The building has been neglected in the hope it will be delisted and unfortunately has been, but thats not to say it can be reversed. To flatten this amazing place of history just to make way for two new house builds beggars belief and is purely for money, it would make sense to spend a bit of money to turn it into a single dwelling and retain the original features and appearance. I implore everybody to make a stand and join me to do something about this.
