The Issue
Help us prove the value of our idea to potential investors, donators, partners, and others by giving us some numbers to use in our proposals and presentations.
Would you live in an intentional matriarchal eco-village?
Issues facing women, children, systems, governance, the disabled, elderly, animals, migrants, healthcare, identity, culture, freedom, education, infrastructure, the economy, opportunity, society, and on and on and on, won't be fixed by anyone other us - for us. The scale of issues affecting our world can't be solved in 1 generation if they rooted throughout centuries. They can't be solved by 1 person, 1 organization, 1 government, 1 movement, in 1 location, or with 1 skillset. They won't be solved through competition or "profit for pockets" but through community and human development.
We seek to create a sustainable matriarchal federation of communities, resources, networks, and more.
We will have a highly organized system of governance, leadership, responsibilities, rules, & values. Every community will be self-governing with its own name as part of a larger network of communities sharing similar values & missions. The "core" community will ideally reflect our broader vision.
We will operate:
- villages and systems designed for aging in place from beginning of life to end, including (but not limited to) the following spaces:
- childcare & youth centers
- educational facilities, services, & systems
- workplaces, businesses, jobs
- event/celebration spaces
- 55+ communities
- assisted living
- memory care villages
- home care
- end of life care & related services
- social & community services, including housing for individuals experiencing specific situations
Residential facilities, housing services, rental & hospitality
- emergency & temporary shelters
- transitional
- travel shelters (+ programs and networks for accessible/affordable travel within our network)
- camping, rv space, rv's, & other travel rentals for profit to support the community and facilitate cultural exchange
- alternative equitable paths to home ownership
- rental options & programs
Animal & environmental care efforts
- animal shelter
- cat cafe (with rotating days for bunnies & dogs)
- animal training services
- boarding & grooming services
We will have multiple farms and gardens which provide 40-90% of our food source and 30-70% of other natural resources like fibers and wood.
- 40% of what we produce is consumed or preserved/stored
- 30% is donated, used to supply shelters or community kitchens, or distributed outside the community
- 20% is traded for goods & services within our network
- 10% is sold for profits to be distributed or invested into the community
- 0% is wasted
We invite:
- foster & adoptive parents
- single moms
- childfree women
- Single women / divorcees, & widows
- solo female travelers
- same sex couples
- opposite sex couples with children
- caretakers of elderly parents
- adults with adult children
- farmers & people with animals
- every race, ethnicity, religion, & cultural background
- people who speak multiple languages
- people who don't speak English
- retirees
- people who need care, support, or a generally assistive/accessible environment
- people at the end of life
- youth & adults who aged out of the foster care system
- adults who experienced the foster care & child protection system as kids
- survivors of abuse, violence, war, crime, and other crises
- immigrants
- more...
This is an incomplete introduction of the project to get it started. We hope to purchase land to develop our first community by November 2028.
