Removal of Whole Lane cycle lanes A24 Worthing

The Issue

The A24 has been cut in half to accommodate cyclists. The number of cyclists that use that route do not warrant this extreme action. One local resident whose property looks over this stretch of road witnessed 3 cyclists in one hour pass by further adding to the argument against this extremity. The residents of Worthing are not anti cyclists, but the provision of half the A24 to cyclists is to the detriment of the flow of traffic at peak times. We therefore request the Council reinstate the 2 lanes back to motor vehicles.
