There are new polls showing exactly WHICH candidates MUST drop out -- and tell their supporters to vote for those still with a chance to get to the top two.  Matt Mahan, Tony Thurmond, and Antonio Villaraigosa are all at one to four percent in the most current poll: TELL THEM TO GET OUT!  or they lose your support forever.  Still leaves Steyer, Becerra, and Porter in the race ... but would dramatically DECREASE the likelihood of a two-Republican run-off.

MAYDAY!  We California Democratic voters could have NO candidate for Governor in the November election  unless even more of the still-in-the-race candidates DROP OUT and signal their support for another.  Kudos to Betty Yee for having taken this action – the REST OF YOU not in the top 2 by May Day (or top 3 only if the last round of April polls truly shows it’s whisper-close between #2 and #3) must follow her lead.  

And here is some INCENTIVE for dropping out.  As a signatory to this petition – I pledge never EVER to vote for anyone who SHOULD and DOES NOT drop out, for any office, FOREVERMORE -- even for dogcatcher.  AND I PLEDGE to object strenuously (and use any lobbying power and/or influence I might have) to the APPOINTMENT to a government position of anyone who SHOULD and DOES NOT drop out.

We MUST be protected against the DISASTER looming – around May Day, when ballots for this election are distributed.  TAKE ACTION NOW.
