To the people of the UK,

My name is Johanna Wills-Taylor, I'm 14 years old. Today I read that Switzerland may soon ban all factory farms and I thought we should do that in the UK. I believe that the world we live in today reflects on the community as a whole. We should not , rely on factory farms to mass-produce our everyday meats.

Join me to be the change for cows, pigs, chickens, and other farm animals in the UK, as we look to stop the worst abuses on factory farms and build a better platform for meat production in the UK.

DID YOU KNOW... The cramped and dirty conditions which pigs are forced to live in on factory farms causes numerous serious health problems which are never treated.

DID YOU KNOW... Each chicken in a battery farm has to spend its entire life in a cage which has a floor space smaller than an iPad, no room to turn around, and certainly not enough space to stretch its wings.

DID YOU KNOW... The natural lifespan of a cow is between 20 to 25 years. However, in factory farms, dairy cows are often considered to be “spent” by the time they have gone through just three lactation cycles. 

Please sign the petition. If we get 10,000 signatures we will get a response from the government. If we get 100,000 signatures this petition will be considered for a debate in Parliament.
