The termination of Dylan Miley better known in WWE as Lars Sullivan
The Issue
Dylan Miley, better known in WWE as Lars Sullivan, a few years ago posted a compilation of misogynistic, racist and homophobic posts on BodyBuilding.com. This week those comments were posted on Reddit. While Mr. Miley issued an apology on Friday May 10th, the apology used general terms and seemed to only be made because he was caught. WWE in the meantime has not issued any statement on the matter and seems to just be ignoring it hoping it will go away.
As already seen on Reddit today, individual fans who are not associated with this petition, have already contacted one of WWE's sponsors Mars Wrigley Confectionery. Other individuals have also started contacting other sponsors as well
We as fans of WWE and supporters of your product want Mr. Miley terminated. For years we as fans have seen individuals who work or are independent contractors receive a slap on the wrist or no repercussions for their racist, homophobic or misogynistic comments. In a day and age where WWE claims to be a world leader for tolerance, we want WWE to actually show that they do not stand behind intolerance. As fans believe that the termination of Dylan Miley sets that example and is a justified course of action.
