We want to raise the punishment for animal abuse. The current punishment is $100-150 fine. We wish to raise it to $250-1,000, 1-5 years of jail time, 5 years of probation, and no animal contact. This all depends on how abused the animal is. The culprit will also be paying the veterinary bill. If the bill is over $1,000, the fine will not be payed. THIS PUNISHMENT IS FOR MULTIPLE-TIME OFFENDERS ONLY!!!
