This petition is about what is supposed to happen on January 6th, 2021. 

On January 6th, the arctic will be sold to oil and gas companies and they will then be permitted to drill into the arctic for oil & gas. 

The wildlife and marine life in the areas and surrounding areas will be harmed by this and will possibly have to leave their homes. It could make many MANY species and animals including our beautiful Polar Bears go EXTINCT. The arctics need to be protected before we lose many different animals, and those animals lose their homes and habitats. It could impact the arctics heavily, and possibly have catastrophic consequences. We would very much like to keep our precious polar bears and arctic animals and marine life.
