Scotland is a nation. It is right that this should be acknowledged and offensive that the people of Scotland should be denied the opportunity to designate their country online.

Adding Scotland as an option on standard drop-down lists of countries in online forms is a simple matter. We would ask that the online community show respect for the people of Scotland and make the normally small effort required to enable them to select their actual country of origin.
