Please note I currently have a loved one who is facing Post-finasteride syndrome (PFS) and wanted to spread awareness on how bad this FDA approved drug called finasteride truly is. Please see quick description from the below website on PFS:

“Post-finasteride syndrome (PFS) describes persistent sexual, neurological, physical and mental adverse reactions in patients who have taken finasteride, a 5-alpha reductase type II enzyme inhibitor used to treat hair loss (under the brand name Propecia or generics) or enlarged prostate (Proscar or generics). Unfortunately, PFS is a condition with no known cure and few, if any, effective treatments. As an increasing number of men report their persistent side effects to health and regulatory agencies worldwide, medical and scientific communities are only beginning to realize the scope of the problem”

There are several severe side effects after taking this FDA approved drug and it currently has no cure. To see someone you care about going through something like this is tough and to hear stories of people losing loved ones to this disease is even more disheartening. Please spread awareness, as I hope more researchers become aware of this and more studies and potential cure can be looked after.
