Overweight men are often forced to endure the ridicule and harassment associated with excess chest fat colloquially called “man boobs.” The deliberate feminization and body shaming associated with male obesity can cause additional adverse mental health events. As such, the Working Committee on Anti-Androgynous Nomenclature for Male Breast Tissue would like to sugguest that the male-specific word “bobs” be used in the popular lexicon over the derogatory term “man boobs.”
