Our Demands for Workers’ Comp Reform

We are calling on Congress, the Department of Labor, and state lawmakers to take immediate action to:

✅ End Employer-Controlled Medical Care – No more forcing workers to see company-paid doctors who minimize injuries. Injured workers must have the right to choose their own doctor.

✅ Speed Up Medical Treatment Approvals – Employers and insurance companies must stop using delays and denials as a tactic to force workers into financial ruin. There should be strict time limits for approving necessary medical treatments.

✅ Establish Fair & Equal Compensation Nationwide – Workers in some states receive 10x more than others for the same injury. We demand a federal standard so all injured workers are treated fairly, no matter where they live.

✅ Ban Retaliation Against Injured Workers – Employers must not be allowed to fire, demote, or harass workers who file legitimate claims. There must be real penalties for companies that engage in retaliation.

✅ Improve Transparency & Accountability – Workers should have full access to their medical reports and claims process, and insurance companies should face severe penalties for wrongful denials.
