Submissions close on 23 July 2017. There is a little time but I would suggest that anyone who wants to make a submission should make contact with Merrin Thompson who is the main Committee contact.
This is a one shot opportunity to get the unconscionable behaviour of Fire and Rescue NSW on public record.
It may also vicariously puncture a hole in the insurance companies.

THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION – this Petition was directed to be taken down. I can't tell you who ordered that direction but I'm sure you'll have your own ideas. It was made clear to me that I would risk a serious and adverse outcome if I did not take down the Petition. I have sanitised the Petition.

Some have asked for more information.  Please read the media links below - I'm sure that you will understand what's been going on.

Greg was injured by his employer - he should be treated fairly - not like a criminal. He should receive proper compensation for his loss of income, superannuation, and entitlements.

Many of you know what is going on because you are, have been, or know someone who is part of the organisation and has been treated so appallingly. That's why you have signed.

This is Greg's story and he was punished for standing up and reporting what was happening.  But Greg's family are also being punished.

I can't say too much because of the intimidation but what I can say is that justice, fairness, morality, and ethics need to be common place or our democracy dies. This organisation and organisations like this need to restore people's faith in their competence to uphold the standards they promote. Simple as that.

Although everything I have said is the truth and everything is available from Freedom of Information and GIPA, I can't fight these monster organisations - they are too powerful.  That's really the point of the Petition - to invert the balance of power and use our collective voice.

Can they ensure that the firefighters who have been injured at work will be treated fairly - FAIRLY !!! - and not subjected to humiliation, retaliation and retribution?

Clearly there are people who don't want this story told.

While it may sound righteous, I want to say this. My grandfather fought and died in a war to protect our free speech. I am appalled at this censorship. But I'm not prepared to be bullied beyond where my free speech is quashed.

Many of you have signed the Petition and others have asked me to give more information. I thank you sincerely for that and also for telling your story. I know that is hard.

My position is this, I'm not able to fight monster organisations on this. That's the reason for the Petition - the Power of Free Speech should prevail.
