For the past six years, Serena has been a driving force behind our Duo Duo Pack. She has helped inspire a new generation to take action for dogs and cats trapped in the meat trade.
Her commitment and leadership also earned her the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award, an honor reserved for young leaders creating lasting change in their communities.
But what makes Serena especially remarkable is how she blends compassion with innovation.
An accomplished robotics competitor, Serena is now channeling her technical skills into something deeply meaningful: designing and building custom wheelchairs for dogs with mobility challenges. Using 3D printing and simple materials like PVC pipes, she is creating adaptable solutions that give animals a second chance at movement, comfort, and joy.
These wheelchairs are already making a difference in shelters in China, proof that creativity, when guided by empathy, can transform lives.
