We started the International Pet Appreciation Celebration three years ago. We want to combat the cruelty of the Yulin Dog Meat "Festival" and meat trade with an international outpouring of love and appreciation as we honor the animals with whom we share our lives.
This year, the International Pet Appreciation Celebration is bigger than ever—expanding to a three-month global movement from March 20 to June 20! Together, we can create international positive energy while demanding an end to the horrific Yulin Dog Meat “Festival” (occurring on June 21) and the cruel dog and cat meat trade.
We need your help to make this year’s celebration truly impactful. Organize a dog party, a shelter adoption day, or a community outreach event in your area—big or small, every effort counts! It’s easy, fun, and a meaningful way to honor the animals who bring so much joy into our lives.
